This is a central location for downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowboarding.

The approximate travel time to several downhill ski areas are as follows: For a group that wants to try several areas, our house is centrally located to quite a few areas, so that several areas could be tried on different days. If a few people want to ski at a different area, then it can be done without inconveniencing any others. There are sledding hills at the house, and sleds provided for your use.
