Mettawee Sleeping Arrangements
The Mettawee house is ideally sized for groups of up to eight people. There are four bedrooms in the house, and each will sleep two people. Additional space can be found by doubling up in the rooms on existing sofa beds, sleeper sofas, and extra beds. Parties of twelve have stayed at the house, without adding any air mattresses, or sleeping bags. This can work, but it may result in a crowded situation depending upon your group. Linens are provided for all beds, along with extra blankets.
Here is a detailed description of the sleeping arrangements.
The master bedroom suite is located on the first floor, and has a king size bed. There is a private full bath and walk in dressing room attached to this room. The dressing room has a small single sofa bed that works well with young children who may want to be close to their parents. This room also houses the sound system for the pool room - bring your CDs! Also in the master bedroom is a double futon sofa bed. There is a large flat screen wall mounted smart tv in this room which is WiFi enabled and attached to a DVD player. There is no television programming service at the house.
There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the library. This room has louvered doors leading to it, in the event that someone is using this room as a bedroom. This sleeper sofa can sleep an additional two people.
To the right is a photo of the north bedroom, which overlooks the gardens in the front of the house, and the future "blue spruce forest". There are two windows in this room. This is a double bed.
To the left is a photo of the south bedroom which has views of Dorset Mountain and the fields outside of the house. This is a queen size bed.
Between the north and south second floor bedrooms, there is a full bathroom.
The lower level has a bedroom with two single beds. This room has an adjoining play room, with a ping pong table. There is an emergency exit door from the lower level bedroom room to outside.
